We welcomed Dali to Australia in April 2010.

We purchased Dali as an 8 week old pup from Elena Kozhevnikova from Russia.  As Russia is a restricted country for importation directly to Australia, Dali needed a carer in a Country that would accept him until he was eligible to enter Australia. We would like to thank Betsy Zimmerman of Eclectic Frenchies who looked after Dali for us in the USA making his importation possible.

Dali had a very successful show career in Australia  and always placed at Specialty Shows.  His other wins of merit include:

  • 13 x Best of Breed

  • 8 x Runner-Up Best of Breed

  • 2 x Best Junior in Group

  • 6 x Best Intermediate in Group

  • 1 x Best Exhibit in Group

  • BEST HEAD 2011 French Bulldog Club of NSW Specialty

  • BEST GAITED 2013 French Bulldog Club of NSW Specialty

Dali attained his Australian Champion title in just 5 months of limited showing and 9 Best of Breed Certificates.  He left his mark on the American French Bulldog scene before making the move to Australia by giving his carer two lovely litters. His son Dylan picked up a 3 point major going Winner's Dog and Best of Winners at 7 months of age at his very first show. This lovely little dog is now titled an officially known as American Champion Eclectics Special Edition. We congratulate his breeder Betsy Zimmerman and his owner Kris.

Dali is also the sire of 3 times BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW winning dog, Supreme Ch Opalguard Baby Im A Star, as well as Multi Class in Group, Best Exhibit in Group, Runner-Up Best in Show winner, Ch Karparla Bonne Jour.  Another of his son's, Ch Opalguard The Ego Has Landed is a RUNNER-UP TO BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW winner, Multi BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP and RUNNER-UP to BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP winner.  His daughter, Ch Swifdelight French Du Jour is a FBCQLD Class in Show winner, and another of his daughters, Neut Ch Opalguard Whispering Hope is a multi BEST NEUTER IN GROUP, and BEST NEUTER IN SHOW winner.  She is also the winner of BEST BRINDLE IN SHOW at the 2014 FBCQLD Specialty Show.

Aside from his show career, Dali was the most affectionate, gentle, beautiful and handsome boy we could have asked for.  He is so sadly missed by our family and has left a huge whole in our hearts.
